I’m the opposite. I forget to put the bags into the car. (which is why I have to go home before going to the grocery store tonight)

My hubby and I always struggle with this.  As a fisherman, conservation is very important to him and yet there are things that we just can’t live without that we know aren’t best. 

I didn’t know about the paper vs plastic.  Great to learn!

At least you don’t say “I don’t care about the environment. I won’t be around when it all goes to hell.”

Plastic bags are also used more than once.  First the groceries, then for garbage or such. 

I, myself, prefer a nice shade of sage.  grin

it is hard to be green - I have several cloth bags that I take to the store when grocery shopping however I never have enough - never mind how much the darn things cost - mailing them to me and the gas it used to get them here - oh well -

Green costs LOTS Of money and NO WAY you can talk me into using cloth diapers -

I guess if we all do a little that is better than nothing
