Maybe they really were gaming geeky people and not used to being out in public where social niceties come into play. You know, like not sitting in the middle of store aisles and being polite.

Link to This PostHi Shan: To update you, the awful cold and bad weather is leaving the K.C. area just in time for your arrival in ST. Louis! Yay! Hopefully, it will be the same on the opposite side of the state. It’s supposed to be 52degrees here Sunday and also Thursday. Hope they are right about this for your sake.
I love your totes! But still think mind is the best. Z and S love to see what I have in it when I go there every time. It usually contains the mini-muffins for treat-time and a book for each of them. I took a measuring tape and ruler the other day. What a time we had with those. They both wore their wonderful aprons for painting and made pictures for B & J. Hope your trip is great.

Link to This PostThat chatty guy must be an idiot savant - knowing how many authors there WERE and ARE in the store. Amazing!
Rude crosses all barriers and it’s a shame.
Even worse that you didn’t find your book! Hate when that happens. Occupational devices?

Link to This PostMy problem is I always think of a book store like it’s a library and should be treated like one. I forget it’s a store and some of the people in the store have never been in a library.
Many Gamers/goth’s have learned to live in their own worlds and tend to ignore the mundanes, after being shunned by them in general.
Jerks while annoying, tend to make me appreciate courteous people (such as you) all the more. Stay warm on your trip!
