Hi Shannon--catching up on your blog! LOL.  I am glad to hear that Mom is doing better.  I am also glad to hear that you are getting some well deserved rest.

I think I can help you and answer your question--I have worked in hospitals for about 10 years now and I can tell you that EVERYONE takes these pads-all they do when you leave is throw them away.  They usually don’t recycle them for infection control reasons.  So--my advice is to take it--believe me, they will never know the difference. You can assure you mom that the Feds aren’t going to come after her or anything (LOL)--she has already given that hospital plenty of money with her operation and treatment for recovery.  Those stupid pads cost a hospital nothing so she shouldn’t worry about it.  If she is really that worried about it--you stow it away in her take home bags and she will never know any better.

That is just my two sense.

Hugs to you!

This depends on wether you are speaking of the cloth ones or the plastic ones. The cloth ones are rewashed with the laundry and belong to teh hospital (it would be like taking a sheet ot towel etc) the plastic ones are paid for by the patient and you can take them home.

Hope this helps..lol.

If there’s any question, probably best to leave it.  Karma is a bitch.

i think that since they most likely throw them away, i would ask…

the road with older parents is never smooth.  i am thinking that it is payback for me being a teenager.  sigh.

Stealing.

Sounds like your Karma has been in a bad mood lately --- best not to test it again.

I’d have to say that Kathleen answered your Karmic Question...and so did Marti.  So I’m guessing I didn’t help at all.  And you’re welcome! :-D

Tonight I’ll sing to you.  Either that will help you sleep or it will put you into a coma (a short coma).

Poor D!  Tell him that premature cleaning happens to all men at some time in their lives.
