There is a bonus to the synthetic stone. . . you’ll never freak out if it suddenly goes missing or chips like you would if it was a real stone.  (ask me how I know, lol)

There’s another bonus—the no blood/conflict on that stone and you didn’t line the DeBeers family pockets one little bit buying it.

I’m a HUGE fan of moissanite. They’re just as pretty as diamonds, they save a ton, and no one can tell the difference—and I mean NO ONE.

I was blown away (and utterly disgusted) by diamond prices when we started looking for my ring, and I told B.D. I was all for a moissanite. It took some convincing to bring him around, and then in the end, we found a dealer who had a really nice half carat diamond for a price so low we really couldn’t argue, but I think synthetic stones rock, and if it hadn’t been for that one deal, I’d have one.
