I spoke to my grandmother last night and I told her to behave or someone would pull the plug; of course that’s the kind of thing only a grandkid could get away with, and for the record it did make her laugh.  Her surgery for colon cancer was today and I just got word that she tolerated it well and is in recovery.  Evidently it is not an easy surgery to recover from, so her road will yet be long.  If you happen on a spare ‘good thought’ send it her way, I know she’d appreciate it.
