    Tall tales…

I left work late this evening and had to make two stops on my way home, putting dinner in serious danger of being really late.  Instead of rushing home and cooking I stopped at a local wing joint and ordered out.  While I was waiting I took a seat at the bar, and listened to the live entertainment ... a guy, a guitar and a back up track.  He was better than average, and loud enough conversation was difficult.  That didn’t stop the retiree to my right.  He meets up with a group of buddies every Wednesday and they take off on their motorcycles together.  They ride about 50 to 100 miles, or at least that’s the way he told it the first time.  The second go ‘round it was 100 to 150, by the third it was over 200.  I wonder how many states he’d have covered if I’d stayed - heh.
