Its not even December and here I am tucking into the my first egg-nog of the season. It is totally NOT a good diet choice, but given that right now neither is a fine glass of wine, it will do as my second choice. The on site training is over until after the first of the year and I feel a little like I’ve been cramming for a test. I just hope everything will still be stuck in my little pea-brain; it is a little overwhelming. All that being said, I’d be lying if I didn’t say I was enjoying the challenge of it, especially the problem solving. The days have been long, the stress high and both of those things are overshadowed by the feeling of accomplishment.
D and I are back to the grindstone this weekend, painting and such. I’d like to finish everything up by January 1st ... so I can make the next list, lol. Actually once the current projects are done we may call a halt for a little bit to catch our breath. Even with our ‘party weekend’ we don’t feel we’ve had a break in some time. That really isn’t true, I think its the ‘time of year’ talking. My normal ‘take on too much’ attitude is doubled this time of year; the to-do list in my head is unreasonable, and yet I keep adding to it. I’m cracked! Cracked I say!
